HVAC
HVAC is important to keep the occupants of the building comfortable in addition to keeping the equipment and electronics running at peak performance.
Concept
In the Dallas Mosque, a hydronic system was chosen to operate the HVAC requirements of the building. A hydronic system was chosen to add better comfort than normal forced air systems through radiant heating and cooling, eliminating air and ducts. Hydronic systems can also be easily hidden into the building elements (walls, floors, ceilings) as the piping takes up less space. The ability to be hidden from view was another reason for hydronic HVAC.
