Program Analysis

The Program for the Mosque can be separated into 3 main spaces: the Worship Space, Community Spaces, and the Educational Spaces.

The worship space would include the main prayer hall, the quibla wall, minbar, and mihrab, a lobby space, administration suite, restrooms, coat and storage rooms and prepartory rooms for ablution or cleansing ritual before the service.

The community spaces are to integrate the community/public with the Islamic faithful. These spaces help grow connections between Muslims and the community, educating the public and breaking any misconceptions about the Islamic faith, creating a close-knit community. The community spaces would include a community outreach hall, kitchen, community outreach office, restrooms, library (shared between the community and Muslim educational groups), an Islamic Art Hall, Islamic art storage, and shared lounge.

The Educational spaces include 5 classrooms, a lecture hall, education offices, youth ministry office, a group volunteer office and restrooms.
